The Scholars’ Symposium is an opportunity to gather over lunch and hear from a Christian scholar on a topic of interest to Christian lawyers. This year, the Symposium will focus on the political theology of persecuted constitutional scholar and Chinese pastor Wang Li, who was arrested by Chinese authorities this past December and remains in custody.
Following our lunch together, we will engage in an extended time of discussion and debate on the topic. In preparation, please read his letter, which he wrote prior to his arrest. He left instructions that it should be made public in the event he was detained more than 48 hours.
