
Jennifer Patrick maintains a law practice concentrating in the areas of business, corporate and nonprofit law. She provides legal counsel to churches and religious institutions on a wide range of legal matters, including the defense of religious freedom. Jennifer received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, and her B.A. from UCLA. She is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
Jennifer is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, she has co-chaired the SDCBA’s Small Firm and Sole Practitioner Section, and has been an attorney volunteer at the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program’s Domestic Violence Clinic. Jennifer has completed training in Pastoral Crisis Intervention from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) and served as a volunteer crisis intervention counselor and supervisor at a southern California suicide hotline. She engages in coordinated pro bono legal assistance outreaches in partnership with countywide ministries.
Active within Christian Legal Society, Jennifer currently serves as vice president on the boards of two CLS chapters in California: the Orange County Chapter of CLS, and the San Diego Chapter of CLS. Jennifer is the founder and annual coordinator of the 50 Points of Light national CLS attorney prayer team.
