KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Justin Giboney

Justin Giboney is an attorney, political strategist, and ordained minister in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also the co-founder and president of the AND Campaign, which is a coalition of urban Christians who are determined to address the sociopolitical arena with the compassion and conviction of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Mr. Giboney has managed successful campaigns for elected officials in the state and referendums relating to the city’s transportation and water infrastructure. In 2012 and 2016, Georgia’s 5th congressional district elected him as a delegate for the Democratic National Convention. A former Vanderbilt University football player and law student, Justin served on the Urban League of Greater Atlanta board of directors. He’s the co-author of Compassion (&) Conviction – The AND Campaign’s Guide to Faithful Civic Engagement and has written op-eds for publications such as Christianity Today and The Hill.

Tom Lin

Tom Lin currently serves as the president/CEO of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Prior roles have included serving as the country director for the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students in Mongolia, where he helped establish a Mongolian evangelical student movement, and serving as InterVarsity’s vice president of missions and director of the Urbana Student Missions Conference. Tom has also served as a trustee on the boards of Wycliffe Bible Translators, Missio Nexus, and Leadership & Legacy Foundation. He currently serves on the boards of Fuller Theological Seminary, the Crowell Trust, and the Lausanne Movement. Tom is the author of Pursuing God’s Call (2012) and Losing Face, Finding Grace (1996), as well as co-editor of the Urbana Onward book series (2012) and a contributor to Still Evangelical (2018), all published by InterVarsity Press. Tom is also a contributor to Uncommon Ground (2020), published by Thomas Nelson. He holds a B.A. in economics from Harvard University and an M.A. in global leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary.

Jennifer Marshall Patterson

Jennifer Marshall Patterson is a visiting lecturer and director of the Institute for Theology and Public Life at Reformed Theological Seminary, Washington. Jennifer has worked in public policy in Washington, D.C., for more than 25 years. She holds a Master of Arts (religion) from Reformed Theological Seminary, a master’s degree in statecraft and world politics from the Institute of World Politics in Washington, D.C., and a bachelor’s degree in French from Wheaton College, where she also earned her teacher certification. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in moral theology and ethics at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

Pastor Ric Rodeheaver

Ric Rodeheaver (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is a native of the Hawaiian Islands and has been living on the “mainland” since 1991. Moving to Los Angeles to establish himself in the music industry (translated: Ric wanted to become a rock-star), God dramatically changed his plans and in 1994 he enrolled in L.I.F.E. Bible College in San Dimas, CA. Upon graduation in 1998 with his BA in Biblical languages, Ric went straight into seminary at Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, CA. He graduated with honors in 2001 with his MA in New Testament studies. Ric, with his wife Lori, sons Asa, Asher, and daughter Anna live in Mission Viejo. Most recently Ric earned his PhD from “Southern Seminary” in 2017. Along with his pastoral responsibilities at CCC Ric is also an adjunct professor of practical theology at Christ Bible Seminary in Nagoya, Japan, a steering member of the Gospel Coalition, Orange County chapter and a member of the Evangelical Theological Society.
