The actual swearing-in ceremony taking place on Thursday, June 8, 2023. Please note that this is a date change from previous CLS announcements. The Court updated its schedule, which necessitated a change in date from June 5 to June 8 for the swearing-in ceremony.

Christian Legal Society is hosting a group of 25 CLS members to be admitted to the bar of the United States Supreme Court.

All attorneys being sworn in this year will be asked to cover the associated costs for the events during the week of the Supreme Court of the United States swearing-in ceremony. A room block has been secured for the group at a conveniently located Washington, D.C., hotel. For your planning purposes, registration costs will cover the following: hotel night, SCOTUS bar admission costs, a pre-swearing-in reception, and local transportation to the court from the reception. For those who wish to stay longer, options for additional hotel nights and a post-admission reception will also be available. Those selected to be sworn in will be responsible for their own flight/travel accommodations to and from Washington, D.C.. More details will be distributed to the selected applicants.

At the present time, SCOTUS is not allowing additional guests outside of our 25 affiants inside the courtroom. We hope and pray that this will change; however, please note that, for planning purposes, should you decide to bring your family and friends with you to Washington, D.C., they are welcome to join in the non-swearing-in events for a small cost.
