Position:  Director, Pre-Law Advisory and Forensics Programs

                  Assistant Professor, U.S. Constitutional Law


Pre-Law Advisory

Responsibilities:  Oversight of Pre-law Advisory program designed to position students for admission and success at Top Tier law schools.  Includes:

  •       Personal mentorship

  •       Strategic Experience Mapping (key internships, participation in forensics activities, Undergraduate Law Review, etc.)

  •       Primary resource for law school application processes

  •       Networking with top law school admissions personnel


May include publications in Pre-Law Advisory journals. 



Responsibilities:  Primary leadership role in shaping and executing a broad-based forensics program.  Position works with Assistant Forensics Coach for administrative and team developmental strategies.  Includes:

·      Moot Court (Coach)

            o   Organization and execution of annual Moot Court Intramural Tournament

  •      Mock Trial (Coach)

  •      British Parliamentary Debate (Oversight*)

  •      Model United Nations (Oversight*)

  •      Speech & Debate (Oversight*)

*Oversight defined as responsible for:

  •      Determining how each program fits into Strategic Experience Mapping (see Pre-Law Advisory above);

  •      Sourcing leadership for each program 

  •      Budget allocation

  •      Annual program evaluations


May leverage network of volunteer alumni resources to supplement as needed. 


Assistant Professor, U.S. Constitutional Law

Responsibilities:  Prepares and teaches assigned courses in U.S. Constitutional Law.  May also include upper level government courses as assigned.


Qualifications include:  Jurisprudence Doctorate (JD) or PhD in Government or related field; Experience in trial law/ appellate law preferred.  Experience in college-level forensics competitor and/or coach.


Salary:  Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
