ALOHA
Welcome to the Hawai‘i Christian Legal Society’s website. If you’re new to the website, we hope you’ll take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with its contents.
On the far right column is a brief discussion of the Christian Legal Society and its mission. The middle column is a listing of some Chapter events and activities. Check out our Events subpage to see what’s coming up (or what just happened). A list of our officers and board members can be found on the Directory subpage. If you need information or assistance, visit our Resources subpage. Finally, our Photos, Prayer and Praises subpage, currently under construction, is available to members only. Our quarterly newsletter is available here.
We hope you’ll visit us often — both at our Website and at our events. More than visit, we hope you’ll stay — by becoming a member of Christian Legal Society. Information on joining can be obtained at the contact number below or by visiting ChristianLegalSociety.org.

About our Chapter:
Prayer Requests
Please join us in praying regularly for CLS members in our chapter and across the nation, the staff at the national office, the legal community, and the ministry of CLS. Also, please list your prayer requests below.
Scriptures for Prayer
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8.
“Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:19-20.
“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” I Thessalonians 5:16-18.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philipians 4:6-7.
“The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” James 5:16.
Scriptures for Your Encouragement
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” Jeremiah 29:11.
“I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2.
“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5.

God Answers Prayers
A local CLS Attorney writes: “Wife, a Christian, employed me to represent her in a legal separation after numberous unsucessful attempts to resolve serious marital problems with her husband, an unbeliever. Family, friends, my client, and I had been praying for the salvation of her husband and for the marriage over a long period of time.
“Her husband was finally served with a complaint for separation. Earlier that day, my client’s mother had prayed that the Lord would send hundreds of angels to protect the husband.
“That evening, husband and wife were in the bedroom talking. Suddenly, he noticed a mist surrounding his wife. He touched it, felt warmth when he did so, and told her that it was the Holy Spirit. He told his wife he could see many small angels in the room, dancing. The wife did not see anything and at first did not believe it. But when one of their daughters came into the room and saw precisely what the husband had seen, the wife knew it was from the Lord. The husband wept, prayed and received the Loard. The husband was saved and their marriage was saved as well.”

- To encourage and inspire Christian lawyers, judges and law students in their faith;
- To share the Christian faith and the gospel with other lawyers and judges;
- To proclaim Jesus as Lord through all that we do in the field of law;
- To help Christian lawyers and judges integrate their faith with their profession; and
