Southbury, CT | February 27–March 1, 2026
The 2026 CLS Northeast Regional Retreat will be held at the The Heritage Hotel in Southbury, Connecticut.
The world beckons us to be influencers and activists—to just do something, to record or publish our every thought, to showcase our virtue, to comment on every event, to save the world. We can apparently do this even from our couches—inactive activists reaching across the virtual globe in a mostly ineffective attempt to change the world.
How should Christians respond to this challenge?
Join us at the 2026 CLS Northeast Regional Retreat, February 27 to March 1, as we address this question!
Mike Schutt will facilitate our exploration of the call to live small in the face of the cultural call to influence, activism, and posturing. The command to love our neighbors itself is a call to reduce our reach rather than expand it. What might that mean for the life of an attorney, a spouse, a parent, or any Christian?
Join us as we consider what it means to love our neighbors in the midst of a loud and busy generation.
Register today for the Northeast Regional Retreat in February! This will be an action-packed weekend full of fellowship, encouragement, worship and more! If you live in the Northeastern United States (NY, NJ, CT, NH, ME, MA, RI, DC, VA, or MD), then this retreat is for you! Bring a friend or come meet a new friend. Whatever the case, you don’t want to miss this amazing gathering with local Christian attorneys and law students!
Check back for more information. We can’t wait to see you!
Hebrews 10:23-25 AMP
23 Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]; 24 and let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds, 25 not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching.
