Jeremy Woodruff is an attorney and executive leader with over 25 years of experience at the intersection of law, operations, and organizational strategy. With a career spanning both public, private and non-profit sectors, he has served as in-house counsel and senior legal advisor, providing expert guidance on employment law, regulatory compliance, and risk management across a wide range of industries.
Currently serving as Chief Operations Officer at the Christian Legal Society, Jeremy’s primary role is driving the CLS mission through operational excellence. His legal acumen has been critical in prior leadership roles with Sumitomo Machinery Corporation, Jubilee Tech International and multiple fast-growing enterprises, where he managed legal compliance, litigation strategy, EEO and ADA matters, employee relations, and internal investigations. He has also overseen the development and legal review of employment policies, corporate training, and Franchise Disclosure Documents.
Earlier in his career, he served as Associate Counsel with the American Center for Law & Justice and held in-house counsel positions where he advised on employment law, business litigation, and corporate policy. Throughout, he has been recognized as a trusted legal partner to executive teams, blending his understanding of the law with pragmatic business leadership.
Jeremy holds a Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Wheaton College. Outside of work, he finds his greatest joy in family life with his wife Carey and as the proud father of seven grown children.
