While Melissa earned her JD, she served as a judicial law clerk, gaining invaluable insight into the judicial system and developing a strong foundation in legal research and analysis. She practiced as an attorney in Ontario, advocating for clients and common-sense legal principles. She has always been an active member of her local church, serving in virtually every ministry area. An avid golfer, Melissa enjoyed volunteering at her local golf course, serving on various committees and helping organize events that improved community engagement and youth participation in the sport.
